As an out-of-state trans person, Samantha was willing to take the risk that every trans person in Kansas is now forced to take every time they exist in public.

The Operation is addressing requests for assistance, but needs additional resources to do so at the scale of the crisis in Kansas.

Simply put, the bill’s restrictions will be made into a normal part of taking care of kids in Idaho. It creates a dragnet to watch and enforce gender-conformity on all children in Idaho.

The EEOC banned trans people in a move that also undermines equality and integration for cis people, the aims it was historically set up to achieve.

The result has been utter chaos for the patients involved.

South Dakota Governor signs bills erasing trans people, making abortion and emergency contraception a felony, and allowing children to marry adults on the same day. More legislation signed on the same date mandates sex-based segregation and effectively bans trans people in publicly funded lodgings.

Kansas is preparing to enforce a law that invalidates the driver’s license of anyone who has changed their gender marker on that document, echoing historic policies that targeted “other” groups by revoking their identification.

Now that the skeleton for the operation is in place, the work turns to getting and giving funds and labor.
