In every way that queer people as a whole have suffered, trans people have suffered worse. 9% of trans people and 5% of the queer population moved from a less tolerant state to a more tolerant one within 7 months of Trump’s re-election.

Even if you can’t get the correct gender marker, you can still get a passport with your legal name. If you don’t have a passport, it is still worth doing so.

If creators think a trans or queer character alone is enough to get money from our people, will they spend time crafting a meaningful story with transness and queerness, or will they just use it as set dressing and a marketing checkbox?
