The US federal government is poised to codify that trans lives are inherently wasteful and effectively end transition for most people across the entire United States.

The bill would be both the first federal trans sports ban, and also codify sex as only referring to how people were born.

This hearing shows that parental groups and tech lobbyists agree on the broad strokes of what children’s access to the internet should look like.

Broadly, this new precedent could mean that any faith-based organization now has free license to discriminate based on internal policies. It remains to be seen if this will remain state-wide precedent or be elevated to a SCOTUS case.
