Even if you can’t get the correct gender marker, you can still get a passport with your legal name. If you don’t have a passport, it is still worth doing so.

Brazil is far from a perfect country, it is one of the countries that kills the most trans people in the world, and it has a deep history with racism and discrimination, but steps are being taken so we move on as a society.

The FDA is forcing several manufacturers of breast binders and tucking panties to register as medical device makers with the FDA because their products are used to treat gender dysphoria. This would give the FDA control over what can be made.
