Renee Good and her wife Becca were part of this Pink Migration.  They sought a better life in a more accepting place, just like millions of other queer people.

It doesn’t matter if it’s the US or the Middle East, it’s all about control– of a country’s politics, of a country’s resources, of a country’s strategic importance.

If creators think a trans or queer character alone is enough to get money from our people, will they spend time crafting a meaningful story with transness and queerness, or will they just use it as set dressing and a marketing checkbox?

Of the approximately 300,000 trans kids in the US between the ages of 13-17, only about 1,000 of them get access to HRT in any given year.

It’s the same people writing the same laws for the same purpose: gaining full control over sex and sexuality.

The more we are hated, the more we are lusted after.

There is only one decent option for dealing with trans people in gendered spaces: let us go where we feel we belong.  Any other option makes us look and feel ridiculous, and insisting that we follow some other option makes you look ridiculous.
