Artemis T. Douglas

Editor in Chief, Reporter- Academia Slaying, News, Politics

I've been described as a "prolific writer" and an "academia slayer." My journalism interests boil down to "loudly declare what is happening" as an act of both radical community defense and self-care. I'd been in news for 3 years, advocacy for 6, and professional writing for 8 prior to starting up 'The Needle'. I'm also an academic-in-training, having finished my Bachelor's in Feminist Rhetorical Practices and currently working on concurrent Master's in Advanced Philosophy and Gender, Politics, and International Relations. You can view my various profiles and web presences via my website.

Danielle Tamara Schatten

Writer- Satire, Fiction

Danielle Tamara Schatten (she/her) is a riddle wrapped in a mystery wrapped in a ligma wrapped in a tortilla. Having studied journalism in a sacred temple under a wise gorilla for ninety years, she eventually abandoned her tutelage prior to accessing a diploma upon realizing gorillas are currently incapable of human speech and instead got her MFA (mother-fucking asshole) degree in the American state of ia, formerly known as Virginia. (She wasn't the reason they got rid of the name but did her part.) She has dedicated to her life to furthering her staunch beliefs, which include free estrogen for all and exclusively cisgender men, an immediate total military intervention by all world powers against the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Research Base, the recognition that the true holy land for the Jewish people is in fact Tibet, and redirection of all research funding in all fields towards putting Elon Musk on the moon and leaving him there. She currently lives in your crawlspace, please give her some food. She may be contacted by either screaming really hard and just kinda hoping, or at her website, nofate.femfactory.tech, where marginally more factual information regarding her can be found.
